Awards received by Junic Construction – Provincial acclaim

In November 2011, at the 21st annual Gala Habitation, Junic Construction was named "Builder of the Year" in the category New Condominiums - Independent entrance (average value of units less than $200,000) for their Condos Bruxelles in Le Plateau.

In November 2010, Junic Construction was named “Builder of the Year –  category Group Residential Project ” and '' Builder of the Year – category Single-family Homes – average value of units between $200,000 and $300,000 (30 units and over)'' at the annual Garantie Qualité-Habitation gala (Association de la construction du Québec).

At the 19th annual Gala Habitation in October 2009, Junic Construction was named Builder of the Year - Performance/Excellence.  This exceptional award recognizes the performance and excellence of a company that despite a production well above average, has maintained a judicious choice of labour and sub-trades ensuring its customers a top quality product.

At the prestigious Gala Habitation in 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008, Junic Construction was named Builder of the Year for West Quebec (which includes the Montreal region) in the category “Residential Project", an award given by the Association de la construction du Québec (ACQ) through its Qualité-Habitation warranty program.  Also in 2007,  Junic was awarded Builder of the Year in the category "New Condominiums" for their Urban Condos in Le Plateau.

Of the 1600 construction companies registered with the ACQ, only fifty or so were selected as finalists.  Based on the Qualité-Habitation warranty criteria, Junic Construction’s nomination is a confirmation of its financial integrity, quality workmanship, and customer satisfaction. Evaluations are done on site by a group of experts who assess the quality of workmanship in terms of structural and finishing aspects.

1. Builder of the Year – Single-family homes – average value of units between $200,000 and $350,000 (40 units and over)
2. Builder of the Year – New condominium - Independent entrance - average value of units less than $200,000 *WINNER
3. Group Residential Project (Le Plateau)

Junic Construction received four nominations at the prestigious Gala Habitation 2010 as finalists in the following categories:

3. Builder of the Year – Single-family homes – average value of units between $300,000 and $400,000 (less than 20 units)

Donations - Community Involvement

In 2010 Charles and Dorothy Tremblay accepted to become the co-chairs for Bike for Beats / Cyclo-Coeur, a major fund raising event in benefit of The University of Ottawa Heart Institute. Bike for Beats is a 1-day cycling event which was held in Ottawa / Gatineau on September 26, 2010. Junic Construction is an official sponsor of this event and has registered a team of cyclists.
